Employment Type: Fixed Term Employment on ERDA Rolls initially for 3 Years
Location: Savli


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee ERDA Building, Road Cleaning, and Campus (Savli) Housekeeping.
  2. Manage and develop the ERDA Savli Campus Gardening.
  3. Handle Drinking Water Facilities, Housekeeping Material Records, material issuance, daily housekeeping complaints/resolutions, follow-ups, Tour & Travel coordination, and pest control management.
  4. Ensure Contract Management Compliance for housekeeping, gardening, road cleaning, canteen; perform invoice checking, process bills for payment, RFQ evaluations, and indents.
  5. Manage tasks related to GIDC, VMS, communication facilities (Employee Mobile, SIM Cards), monthly payment of water charges, building, land taxes, shops, and establishments.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Technical Competencies / Skills Required:

  1. Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office with a typing speed of 30-40 WPM.
  2. Language Skills: Ability to write, speak, and understand English, Gujarati, and Hindi.
  3. Contract Management: Knowledge of contract management and government liaising.

Behavioral Skills:

  1. Office Etiquette: Proper phone etiquette and an understanding of time management.
  2. Maturity: Demonstrated understanding, track records, and initiative.
  3. Flexibility: Ability to handle emergencies, workloads, and take interest in different tasks.

IT Skills:

  1. Knowledge of ERP systems and basic computer skills, including MS Office.

Experience Description:

Experience in administrative activities, including housekeeping, gardening, road cleaning, travel management/vehicle booking, guest house booking and maintenance. Experience in contract compliance, government liaising in GIDC, VMC, telecommunications, shops, and establishments.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Manage contracts for canteen, housekeeping, road cleaning, and gardening.
  2. Handle government office work, including GIDC, VMC, government water facilities, and liaising with government bodies.
  3. Organize and manage events, including celebrations of various programs, meetings, and days like Independence Day, Republic Day, and Environment Day.
  4. Manage communication facilities, including BSNL, Vodafone mobile/SIMs for employees, dongles, data cards, bill checking, processing payments, tour and travel management, and other admin activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.Com/B.A. with any specialization (First Class) with 3-6 years of experience.
  • Skills: Computer literacy, English communication, and ERP work experience of at least one year.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years of experience for B.Com/B.A.
