PRE-PRESS DESIGNER

The Prepress Designer at kreatica Packaging
plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and
print-readiness of all packaging designs. You will
bridge the gap between creative vision, Sample
making and production by preparing graphic files,
creating physical samples, and ensuring flawless printing
on various packaging materials.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with designers and clients to understand packaging specifications, design intent, and
functionality.
2. Receive and meticulously review design files for technical accuracy, including fonts, colors, bleed
areas, and resolution.
3. Perform pre-flight checks to ensure files meet printing press requirements and avoid potential print
ing errors.
4. Utilize design software (Adobe Creative Suite and Corel draw) to edit, manipulate, and optimize
artwork for printing.
5. Prepare high-resolution digital mockups and physical prototypes for client approval.
6. Develop and create high-quality print files for various printing processes (e.g., offset, screen, foiling).
7. Maintain a deep understanding of various printing processes, their specific prepress requirements, and
best practices for sample making.
