Must be able to follow instructions in
cooking and delivering well-prepared
meals
2) Must be fast in moving around the
kitchen and apt in multitasking
3) Experience in using various
ingredients and cooking techniques is
also important
4) Create weekly menu
5) Cook food in a timely manner
6) Work independently
7) Ensure appealing plate presentation
8) Slightly modify recipes to meet our
needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt,
low cholesterol food.. low sugar…
etc)
9) Monitor stock and place orders when
there are shortages
10) Check freshness of food and discard
out-of-date items
11) Creative with recipes and suggest
new ingredients
12) Ensure compliance with all health
and safety regulations within the
kitchen area
13) Have an experience with Indian /
Asian / Middle Eastern/ and prefer to
have Arabic cuisine

Requirements and skills
1) Ensure great presentation by dressing
dishes before they are served
2) Keep a sanitized and orderly
environment in the kitchen
3) Ensure all food and other items are
stored properly
4) Check quantities and quality of
ingredients

5) Proven work experience as a Chef

6) Hands-on experience with various
kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers etc)
7) Knowledge of culinary, baking and
pastry techniques, cold appetizers,
including salads, vegetable and meat
roll-ups and bruschettas
8) Ability to remain calm and undertake
various tasks at the house
9) Excellent time management abilities
10) Up-to-date knowledge of cooking
techniques and recipes
11) Proven experience as cook
12) Experience in using cutting tools,
cookware and bakeware
13) Knowledge of various cooking
procedures and methods (grilling,
baking, boiling etc.)
14) Excellent physical condition and
stamina ( no chronic disease )
15) Able to Labeling and stocking all
ingredients on shelves so they can be
organized and easily accessible
16) Measuring ingredients and
seasonings to be used in cooking
17) Prepare simple dishes such as salads,
entrees etc.
18) Ensure all food and other items are
stored properly
19) Comply with nutrition guidelines
take care of leftover food
20) Ensure that food comes out
simultaneously, in high quality and in
a timely fashion
21) Store ingredients to keep them fresh
and reduce food wastage
22) Check food plating, temperature and
portions for all cold dishes
23) Sterilize and clean kitchen and
equipment at the end of each meals
24) Recommend modern recipes to
renew our menu and add nutritious,
creative cold dishes
25) Maintain a clean station at all times
