Qualifications
& Experience:
- Education: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years as
a QC Engineer/ Inspector in the Middle East within structural
steel fabrication, pressure vessels, and tanks.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in welding
processes and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (UT, RT,
PT, MT).
- Sound knowledge of ISO 9001
standards and QA/QC procedures.
- Familiarity with CSWIP /
CWI, BGAS / NACE, AWS, ASME, API Q1 codes and other international
standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control
processes for fabrication, welding, and NDT inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ISO
9001, AWS, ASME, API standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct welding inspections
and coordinate NDT activities.
- Review and approve QA/QC
documentation, WPS, PQR, and ITPs.
- Liaise with clients,
third-party inspectors, and auditors for quality assurance.
- Monitor non-conformance
reports (NCRs) and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct material inspections
and ensure traceability of welding consumables.
- Support internal HSE and
quality improvement initiatives.
